Do I want to reward “bad behavior” with love?
Do I want to reward fake tears that are an obvious play for attention with love?
Do I want to reward violent rage with love?
Do I want to reward exclusion and “othering” with love?
Do I want to reward selfishness with love?
Do I want to reward people-pleasing manipulation with love?
Yes! Yes! A thousand times yes!
Love is the root essence of being. Love is what we ARE. The only reason anyone ever chooses an action that is out of alignment with love is because they are desperately trying to find their way back to love.
And the only strategy that will ever bring one back to love is to recognize that there is no way to be out of love because we are all love itself.
As soon as I realize that I cannot lose love, I no longer have a need to SEEK it or TRY TO BRING IT ABOUT. I just relax into my true nature and all my seeking behaviors cease.
In the presence of behavior like attention seeking, rage, exclusion, other-ing, selfishness, people-pleasing or manipulation, I’m happy to just be what I am (what we all are): love incarnate, inherent worthiness and lovability, no effort needed, nothing to be upset about, no separation from self or other, nothing to keep or protect, nothing to give anyone that isn’t already in their hands, just to be what I TRULY AM. When I realize that what I truly am is love itself, there’s no reason, no desire to be, or get, or find, or triumph over, anything else.
When I recognize that I AM love, I stop trying to GET love (by going to war with others for instance, with their behavior, their choices, their fears. their misunderstandings, their confused wants and desires, or by going to war with my own) and I’m happy to just BE love.
When I am living as the love that I am (which is not always), everything I had been trying to bring to me instead radiates out of me, and on its way out, it fills me up.
From the only place I will ever find it: the core of my true being:
Love itself.
To not love something goes against my true nature (which is love). So simply loving what is brings me everything I’ve ever needed in relation to anyone’s behavior and returns me to the recognition that everyone’s behavior is exactly what it should be. When I am rooted in my loving true nature I have no problems with others - or with myself - because there are no others - or separate self - because everything is one perfect thing.
There is nothing else in life to get, nothing else to have, nothing else to achieve, nothing else to make, nothing else to give or offer or earn, than love.
That’s all getting, having, achieving, making, and giving offering or earning are pointed to.
Love (unseparated communion with what is).
