John 3:16 - One Interpretation:

John 3:16 —

“God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son so that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”

...to me, means…

Reality is so loving that it gives all of itself so that if I can bring myself to believe it, I will see that I am never called to suffer but live - right now - in a paradise I can never lose.

God

  • that it gives all of itself

that

  • so that

whosoever believeth in him

  • if I can bring myself to believe it,

should not perish

  • I will see I am never called to suffer

but have eternal life.
