Water flows downhill. All the water gravitates naturally, effortlessly to the sea because of the sea’s humble place. And then, when the water finally joins with the sea, everything is at the same level (which is what humility is: recognizing that everything is an inextricable part of one unseparated thing.)
If I am disconnected with someone and want to rejoin them, I can assume a humble position and wait.
