When I get what I want, it’s only because I happened to want what was going to happen anyway.


When I get what I want, it’s only because I happened to want the gift the universe was going to give me anyway.


When I don’t get what I want (or get what I don’t want), it’s only because I happened to want something other than the gift the universe was going to give me anyway.


In all instances, what I’m getting is a gift: it’s exactly what I need at that moment.

The universe never screws that up. Because I AM universe. I am an inextricable and boundless expression of universe itself. All things that happen are universe “universing” on its own behalf. 

My essential being (which is universe) is always perfectly safe “universing.” 

Ego, the separate “I” I believe myself to be, is always working to help me. But it is often confused about what I really am. And when it succeeds at believing I am separate from the universe, it mistakenly sees dangers in a universe that only bestows gifts.

It thinks I want something other than the “universing” of the universe, but I don’t. My true wants are always perfectly aligned with the universe:

  • All

  • oneness

  • wholeness

  • peace

  • connectedness

  • undifferentiated, unseparated What Is

When I am sane, THAT is all I ever want.

When I get caught up believing myself separate and argue with my true wants, I suffer
