All stress is imagined.

ALL stress is imagined. Stress is the result of an imagination run amok.

People, things and situations have no power to stress me out. It’s what I think and believe about them that stresses me out.

Sometimes I get distracted by something fun or interesting and my stress will leave me for a while. Then I’ll remember: “Oh yeah! I’m dealing with a stressful situation” and the stress will rush back in.

No stressful thought, no stress.

And if a distracted mind is enough to take away my stress, that must be where my stress lives: In my mind.

So if that’s where it lives, how do I alleviate it?

I work with my mind: I recognize the cause of my stress, then I get still and question what I’m thinking and believing for the love of Truth.

I’ll know I’ve found the Truth when I am at peace.
