It’s impossible to satisfy ambition.

Ambition is the desire to be something other than what I am right now. And I am always what I am now, even as I change from moment to moment. Every moment is a new now. So the only way to be satisfied is to drop ambition

Which is exactly what happens when a goal is reached: I drop ambition.

The reason I experience a sense of satisfaction when I achieve a goal is because there is a fleeting moment where I finally accept myself exactly as I am

And after a moment, ambition starts again: I un-satisfy myself and start chasing a new sense of satisfaction.

I can skip the middleman. I can just release myself from the story that I would ever need to be anything other than what I am and love what I am, right here, right now. In every now.

There is not a single moment where I cannot experience being everything I want to be.

In ambition, I just put an unnecessary step between me and what I’m really seeking, which is a love of myself and my place in the world. It’s there for me. Nothing needs to be done. Things CAN be done for FUN, of course.

But if what I’m doing is not fun, I can let it all go and bask in the joy of what I am and where I am right here and right now.
